Stereo table
THE STEREO TABLE (see
enlargement) is poplar, finished with milk paint, which is entirely
non-toxic and very easy to work with. I am not happy with the wooden drawer
handles and will probably replace them with green milk glass.
There is really nothing in the design that
makes this table distinctly a stereo table, except that I designed and
built it to hold our stereo system. We do not have room for an "entertainment
center," and I did not want to build a specialized cabinet that might
become obsolete when the technology changes or we replace a piece of equipment.
